OPERATIONS MANUAL &
The Operations Manual and Risk Assessment Manual are a prerequisite for issuing an Air Operator's License if your SEM is registered in the Special Category.
Your Operation Manual should include information on the specific tasks you will complete with your Drone, covering aspects such as the platform you will fly and personal procedures and Checklist to ensure safe flight operation. Your operating manual is essentially a contract between you and YP.A. As a result, your Flight Manual is used to perform controls on your operations when your commercial operations are performed using Drone.
Part I – UAS Safety Hazard Identification: Occurrences like near misses or latent conditions which led or could have led to a drone operational flight safety harm will be identified.
Part II – UAS Safety Risk Assessment: All identified hazards will be assessed according to the severity and probability of each operational risk.
Part III – UAS Safety Risk Mitigation: According to the operational risk acceptance level risk mitigation actions will be defined.
Part IV – UAS Safety Documentation: Not only the assessment results but the whole UAS safety risk assessment process should be documented to ensure a continuous safety assurance.
In cooperation with you, we will analyse the procedures you need to follow and record them in the 2 manuals.
